Spine surgeon leader to know: Dr. Jeremy James of DISC of Louisiana

Jeremy R. James, MD, is a board-certified orthopedic spine surgeon at DISC of Louisiana in Hammond and Covington.

Dr. James specializes in minimally invasive spine surgery. He received his medical degree from New Orleans-based Louisiana State University and completed his residency from LSU in Shreveport. Dr. James underwent minimally invasive spine surgery fellowship training at Scottsdale-based Spine Institute of Arizona.

He is a member of the Louisiana Orthopaedic Association, Society for Minimally Invasive Spine Surgery and American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, among other professional organizations. In his spare time, Dr. James enjoys boating and fishing.
