She is an assistant professor of neurological surgery, orthopedic surgery and pediatrics and the director of the Pediatric Neuro Spine Program at St. Louis Children’s Hospital. Her research, which has been published in Journal of Neurosurgery: Pediatrics and Translational Stroke Research, focuses on chiari, syrinx and scoliosis in the pediatric population and mechanisms of brain injury after neonatal intraventricular hemorrhage.
Dr. Strahle earned her medical degree at University of Minnesota Medical School in Minneapolis. She went on to complete a neurosurgery residency at Ann Arbor-based University of Michigan and a pediatric neurosurgery fellowship at St. Louis Children’s Hospital.
