Specializing in adult and pediatric complex spine disorders, Dr. Deckey treats scoliosis, tumors, fractures, infections and cervical, thoracic and lumbar spine degenerative conditions.
Dr. Deckey serves as principle clinical investigator for Medtronic’s Maverick lumbar disc replacement at St. Joseph Hospital in Orange, Calif. He is also involved in an FDA study analyzing bone morphogenic protein use in posterior spinal fusions.
After earning his medical degree from New York City-based Columbia University College of Physicians & Surgeons, Dr. Deckey completed his surgical internship and orthopedic surgery residency at the same institution. Dr. Deckey completed his spine surgery fellowship at University of California, San Francisco.
