Spine surgeon leader to know: Dr. Jason Savage of Cleveland Clinic

Jason Savage, MD, is an orthopedic surgeon specializing in degenerative spine conditions, disc arthroplasty, spinal deformity and spinal fusion, among many other conditions.

A member of the Lumbar Spine Research Society, Dr. Savage is also affiliated with the North American Spine Society and American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons.

 

Journal of Spinal Disorders, Spine and Global Spine Journal, among other journals, have published his research.

 

After earning his medical degree from UMDNJ-Robert Wood Johnson Medical School in Piscataway, N.J., Dr. Savage completed a general surgery internship at Chicago-based Northwestern Memorial Hospital. He then completed an orthopedic surgery residency at Chicago-based Northwestern University and a spine surgery fellowship at Madison-based University of Wisconsin.
