Pediatric Orthopedic Surgery has published his research on pediatric spinal deformity and pediatric fractures as well as hip, knee, foot and hand abnormalities.
Dr. Mooney obtained his medical degree from Wayne State University School of Medicine in Detroit. He then completed his general surgery internship and orthopedic surgery residency at Wake Forest University School of Medicine/North Carolina Baptist Hospital in Winston-Salem. Dr. Mooney completed his pediatric orthopedic surgery fellowship at Children’s Hospital of Boston.
