His practice takes a conservative approach to treating spine disorders, and his areas of expertise include spine tumors, cervical stenosis and herniated and lumbar disc conditions.
Dr. Garonzik received his medical degree from Emory University School of Medicine in Atlanta. He completed his residency at The Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore where he was chief resident. Dr. Garonzik was an assistant professor at The Johns Hopkins Hospital from 2004 to 2010 and received the Dr. Otenasek faculty-teaching award.
He’s an active member of organizations including the American Association of Neurological Surgeons, the Congress of Neurological Surgeons and North American Spine Society.
