Spine surgeon leader to know: Dr. Greg McLoughlin of South Carolina Spine Center

Greg McLoughlin, MD, is a spine surgeon at Greenwood-based South Carolina Spine Center.

He earned his medical degree from Saskatchewan, Canada-based University of Saskatchewan, where he also completed a residency. He completed a neurosurgery fellowship at Baltimore-based Johns Hopkins University.

 

Dr. McLoughlin specializes in complex spine surgery, cervical disorders, degenerative spine surgery and minimally invasive spine surgery, among others.

 

He is a fellow of The Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada.

 

Dr. McLoughlin is a member of the Canadian Medical Society, South Carolina Spine Society and American Association of Neurological Surgeons.
