Spine surgeon leader to know: Dr. Graham Mouw of Cedars-Sinai Medical Center

Graham Mouw, MD, is a board certified neurosurgeon at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles.

Dr. Mouw specializes in motion preservation spine surgery and spinal restoration. He received his medical degree from the University of California in Los Angeles Keck School of Medicine and underwent fellowship training at UC San Francisco. Dr. Mouw is affiliated with various Los Angeles hospitals, including Valley Presbyterian Hospital.

 

He is the founder of the Motion Spine Institute and the inventor of the first patent for Lamina Implant and Method. Dr. Mouw performed the first outpatient lamina replacement in California using the Globus Haven Lamina Replacement System at Valley Presbyterian.
