Spine Surgeon Leader to Know: Dr. Glenn Keiper of KeiperSpine

Glenn L. Keiper, MD, is a neurosurgeon, and he founded KeiperSpine in Eugene, Ore. He also opened the Spine Surgery Center of Eugene in 2007 along with other associates, which is a spinal surgery-driven ASC. He is a member of American Association of Neurological Surgeons, Congress of Neurological Surgeons, National Association of Spine Surgeons and Oregon Medical Association.

Dr. Keiper is certified by the American Board of Neurological Surgery. He specializes in cerebrovascular surgery, skull base surgery and Stealth frameless stereotactic surgery. His clinical interests also include cervical spine disorders, degenerative spine, head and neck disorders and lumbar degenerative disc disease.

“I like taking on complex problems, caring for people and contributing to their lives,” said Dr. Keiper according to the KeiperSpine website. “That’s what drew me to spine surgery. My daily encounters with patients have inspired me to develop new techniques and technology.”

Dr. Keiper earned his medical degree at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine, where he also completed his residency in general surgery.
