Dr. Miz was one of the first physicians in the area to enroll in clinical trails for artificial disc replacements to treat degenerative disc disease. He has become an expert in minimally invasive surgery.
Board certified in orthopedic surgery, Dr. Miz specializes in herniated discs, spine deformities, sciatica, trauma and tumors. He underwent fellowship training at New York University School of Medicine in New York City.
After earning his medical degree from Loyola University Stritch School of Medicine in Maywood, Ill., Dr. Miz completed his residency at Southern Illinois University School of Medicine in Springfield, Ill.
