Specializing in spine disorders, he has authored pieces and spoken on spinal reconstruction. Dr. Bono has won research awards from the American College of Osteopathic Surgeons and the Michigan Osteopathic Association.
After earning his medical degree form Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, Fla., Dr. Bono completed his internship and residency at Botsford General Hospital/Michigan State University in Farmington Hills. He then completed a neurosurgical and orthopedic surgery fellowship at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital in Ann Arbor, Mich.
