Dr. Otero-Lopez received his medical degree from University of Puerto Rico Science Campus in San Juan and underwent spine surgery fellowship training at Texas Back Institute in Plano.
He has published several clinical research manuscripts and book chapters. Dr. Otero-Lopez is a member of the North America Spine Surgery and New Mexico Medical Society, among other professional organizations. In his spare time, he enjoys running and playing guitar.
