Spine surgeon leader to know: Dr. Eric M. Horn of Goodman Campbell Brain and Spine

Eric M. Horn, MD, PhD, specializes in complex spine conditions, minimally invasive spine surgery, spine tumors, degenerative spine disorders and spine trauma with Indiana-based Goodman Campbell Brain and Spine. Dr. Horn is also an assistant professor of neurological surgery and the director of spinal neurosurgery with Indiana University Department of Neurological Surgery in Indianapolis.

Dr. Horn has published multiple peer reviewed journal articles as well as abstracts and presentations; including his doctoral thesis “Development and mechanism of rat caudal hypothalamic neuronal responses to hypoxia.”

 

Dr. Horn received his medical degree the University of Illinois Medical Scholars Program and his PhD from University of Illinois Neuroscience Program. In addition, Dr. Horn completed his residency from Barrow Neurological Institute in Phoenix, and completed two fellowships there as well; one in spinal neurosurgery and one in spine trauma surgery.
