Dr. Lucas is vice president of the South Carolina Spine Society. He received his medical degree from the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston and underwent spine surgery fellowship training at Kenton Leatherman Spine Center at the University of Louisville (Ky.) School of Medicine.
He is affiliated with Bon Secours St. Francis Hospital in Greenville. Dr. Lucas is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, North American Spine Society and South Carolina Medical Association, among other professional organizations.
