Spine surgeon leader to know: Dr. Elizabeth Lord of UCLA Health

Elizabeth Lord, MD, is an orthopedic spine surgeon at the University of California Los Angeles Health.

She received her medical degree from New York City-based Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons and completed a residency at UCLA. Her research interests include adult and pediatric spinal deformities and innovation in spine surgery.

Dr. Lord grew up in Kenya, Egypt and New Hampshire and has an interest in cultural competency in her practice. She was featured in the 2020 “20 Under 40” list from SpineLine, the primary publication for North American Spine Society members.
