Spine surgeon leader to know: Dr. Edward Dohring of Spine Institute of Arizona

Edward J. Dohring, MD, is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon serving patients at Spine Institute of Arizona with locations in Scottsdale, Glendale, Ahwatukee and Gilbert. He serves as co-director of the Spine Institute of Arizona’s spine surgery fellowship program.

Dr. Dohring specializes in conditions of the cervical spine and lumbar spine as well as spinal injuries, scoliosis and spinal tumors. He performs minimally invasive procedures, and focuses his research on artificial discs and alternatives to fusion.

 

After obtaining his medical degree from Yale Medical School in New Haven, Conn., Dr. Dohring completed his orthopedic residency at Spine Institute of New England in South Burlington, Va. He completed his spine fellowship at University of Washington in Seattle.
