Dr. Brown is an associate professor and volunteer surgeon with Oheneba Boachie-Adjei, MD, orthopedic surgeon and FOCOS founder. Dr. Brown specializes in adult degenerative conditions of the lumbar and cervical spine, including spinal stenosis, spinal deformity, radiculopathy, disc herniations, spondylolisthesis and spinal tumors. He is experienced in minimally invasive spine procedures and complex spinal reconstructions or revisions. His research focuses on spinal deformity surgery and minimally invasive surgical techniques.
He received his medical degree from Boston-based Tufts University School of Medicine. Dr. Brown underwent spine surgery fellowship training at the San Diego Center for Spinal Disorders in La Jolla, Calif. He is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and North American Spine Society. In his spare time, he enjoys surfing, diving and traveling.
