The first surgeon in Texas to perform endoscopic laser spine surgery with a 3 mm incision, Dr. Won performs minimally invasive and endoscopic laser spine surgeries for cervical, thoracic and lumbar disorders.
Dr. Won is board-certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgeons, and is a member of the Society for Minimally Invasive Spine Surgery, North American Spine Society and American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons.
After receiving his medical degree from the University of Texas, Galveston, he completed a residency in orthopedics at Washington University in St. Louis. Dr. Won then did a fellowship in orthopedic, spine and neuro-spine at William Beaumont Spine Center, Royal Oak, Mich., and another fellowship in deformities of the spine at Washington University, St. Louis.
