She specializes in adult degenerative spine conditions and peripheral nerve disease. Dr. Saatman is on various medical advisory boards and has done two national clinical outcomes trials. A member of American Association of Neurological Surgeons, she is also affiliated with Congress of Neurological Surgeons and North American Spine Society.
After earning her medical degree from SUNY Health Science Center, Dr. Saatman completed a neurosurgery residency at the University of Florida in Gainseville. She then completed a neurological oncology fellowship at Moffitt Cancer Center in Tampa.
