A member of the American Association of Neurological Surgeons, Dr. Saatman is also affiliated with the Congress of Neurological Surgeons and the North American Spine Society. Dr. Saatman is currently on various medical advisory boards.
After receiving her medical degree from SUNY Health Science Center in New York, Dr. Saatman completed a neurosurgery residency at the University of South Florida in Tampa, Fla. Dr. Saatman then completed a neurosurgical oncology fellowship at Moffitt Cancer Center in Tampa, Fla.
