Dr. Corenman was honored with the Compassionate Doctor Certification in 2013, and released a two-year study on transforaminal lumbar interbody fusion for low back pain that same year. He also published a book on back pain in 2012 and has appeared on the local television station to discuss spinal disorders.
In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Corenman is a clinical assistant professor of orthopedic surgery at the University of Colorado and adjunct instructor of chiropractic medicine at Los Angeles College of Chiropractic. He started the first university-based chiropractic residency in the country and has lectured across the United States and Europe.
Dr. Corenman earned his medical degree from Wayne State University in Detroit, where he also completed his orthopedic surgery residency. His additional training includes a spine surgery fellowship at the University of Colorado.
