Spine surgeon leader to know: Dr. David Vincent of Neurosurgical Specialists

David Vincent, MD, is a neurosurgeon at Virginia Beach-based Neurosurgical Specialists.

Dr. Vincent subspecializes in complex spine surgery including degenerative disease and disc replacement with a strong emphasis on minimally invasive surgical techniques.

His career began after he earned his medical degree from Shreveport-based Louisiana State University. He completed his internship and residency at the Charlottesville-based University of Virginia and his fellowship at the Birmingham-based University of Alabama.

Dr. Vincent is a member of several professional societies including the Congress of Neurological Surgeons and the Scoliosis Research Society.

He is a fellow of the American Association of Neurological Surgeons and the American College of Surgeons.
