He is the director of spine surgery at Columbus, Ohio-based Doctors Hospital and holds admitting privileges at Ohio-based Dublin Methodist Hospital. He is a fellow of American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and North American Spine Society, and is a member of Ohio State Medical Association. He is board certified by the American Board of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation.
Dr. Kim earned his medical degree at University of Rochester School of Medicine in New York. He went on to complete an orthopedic surgery residency at Philadelphia-based Hahnemann University and a spine surgery fellowship at Southern Illinois University School of Medicine in Springfield. He underwent an additional research fellowship at National Institutes of Health in Bethesda, Md.
