In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Fardon co-authored Orthopaedic Knowledge Update for Spine II, an academic volume published by the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and North American Spine Society.
Dr. Fardon previously served as president of the North American Spine Society. The society honored Dr. Fardon with its Shelby Award for Outstanding Spine Care in 2000. He also consulted on the North American Spine Society’s Clinical Guidelines.
After earning his medical degree from the University of Kansas School of Medicine in Kansas City, Dr. Fardon completed his residency at Columbia-based University of Missouri Medical Center. Dr. Fardon is board certified in orthopedic surgery.
