His practice uses a multidisciplinary approach to spine care to improve and treat underlying bone deficiencies including the use of biologic healing agents. During his career, he completed a medical mission trip to Gambia in West Africa and served as chief resident in the Harvard Combined Orthopaedic Residency Program and was editor-in-chief of the Orthopaedic Journal at Harvard Medical School.
He is a member of the North American Spine Society and AO Spine associate member. Dr. Lebl also serves as a volunteer surgeon with the Foundation of Orthopedics and Complex Spine. In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Lebl has research interests in motion preservation, improved clinical outcomes, minimally invasive spine surgery and complex spinal deformities.
Dr. Lebl currently serves on the editorial board of the HSS Journal and a reviewer for Minimally Invasive Surgery. He has authored several articles during his career that appear in professional journals.
Dr. Lebl earned his medical degree at Stanford School of Medicine and completed the spine and scoliosis surgery fellowship at Hospital for Special Surgery. He pursued additional surgical fellowships in China, Japan, Spain and Germany.
