Spine surgeon leader to know: Dr. Darrell Brodke of University of Utah School of Medicine

Darrell Brodke, MD, is a spine surgeon and director of spine services at the University of Utah School of Medicine in Salt Lake City.

At the University of Utah, Dr. Brodke holds the Louis and Janet Peery Presidential Endowed Chair and is the department of orthopedics vice chairman. He is also the director of the spinal disorders fellowship.

 

Board certified in orthopedic surgery, Dr. Brodke has authored and coauthored over 100 publications. He is a member of the American Orthopaedic Association, AOSpine North America, Cervical Spine Research Society and North American Spine Society.

 

After earning his medical degree from the UC San Francisco, Dr. Brodke completed his residency at the University of Wisconsin in Madison. Dr. Brodke underwent fellowship training at Seattle-based University of Washington.
