Dr. Murrey has served as the Mecklenburg County commissioner and headed the committee for the 2012 Democratic National Convention, in Charlotte, N.C. He has a professional interest in spinal degenerative diseases, disc replacement, arthritic conditions, spinal fractures, spinal tumors, spinal fusion and cervical spine diseases.
Dr. Murrey is affiliated with Carolinas Medical Center in Charlotte and certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery.
Dr. Murrey earned his medical degree at Harvard Medical School in Boston and completed his residency at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, Tenn. He also completed a spine surgery fellowship at Carolinas Medical Center.
