Spine surgeon leader to know: Dr. Daniel Laich of Swedish Covenant Health

Daniel T. Laich, DO, is a board-certified neurosurgeon and neurosurgery chief at Chicago-based Swedish Covenant Health.

Dr. Laich specializes in minimally invasive, non-surgical, endoscopic and major reconstructive spine procedures. He received his doctor of osteopathic medicine degree from Downers Grove, Ill.-based Midwestern University Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed his residency at Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine and underwent fellowship training at the Chicago Institute of Neurosurgery and Neuroresearch.

With 18 years of experience, Dr. Laich is interested in motion preservation technologies, including artificial disc replacement and posterior motion preserving instrumentation and regenerative technologies.
