Dr. Kang, who was named on SpineLine’s 2020 “20 Under 40” list, served two military deployments to Kuwait in 2015 and Egypt in 2019. He decided to go into medicine during college in the U.S. Military Academy, and he decided to go into orthopedic spine surgery during medical school.
He’s director of Madigan’s orthopedic surgery residency program and has authored 65 peer reviewed papers, 22 book chapters and more than 200 podium and poster abstracts. Dr. Kang is also deputy editor for The Spine Journal.
