Spine surgeon leader to know: Dr. Craig Popp of Fox Valley Orthopedics

Craig A. Popp, MD, is an orthopedic spine surgeon who has provided care at Geneva, Ill.-based Fox Valley Orthopedics for nearly a decade. He is a member of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons and Kane County Medical Society. He is on staff at Cadence Health’s Delnor Hospital in Geneva; Provena St. Joseph Hospital in Elgin, Ill.; and Sherman Hospital in Elgin.

Dr. Popp has a professional interest in spine surgery, sports-related injuries of the spine, herniated disc repair and minimally invasive procedures for back and neck pain. He is certified by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery.

 

Dr. Popp earned his medical degree at University of Minnesota Medical School in Minneapolis. He completed his residency at University of Illinois at Chicago and completed an orthopedic spine fellowship at University of Southern California’s School of Medicine in Los Angeles.
