Spine surgeon leader to know: Dr. Craig Humphreys of Kenai Spine

S. Craig Humphreys, MD, is a board-certified orthopedic spine surgeon and founder of Soldotna, Alaska-based Kenai Spine.

Dr. Humphreys received his medical degree from Maywood, Ill.-based Loyola University Chicago Stritch School of Medicine and underwent orthopedic spine surgery fellowship training at the Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee. His research has been featured in more than 70 scientific publications.

He is a diplomate of the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery as well as a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and American Spinal Injury Association. In his spare time, he enjoys spending time outdoors and fishing.
