Dr. Yeung is a founding member of Society for Minimally Invasive Spine Surgery and a member of the North American Spine Society and American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons. He is board certified and his clinical interests include cervical herniated discs, cervical spine disorders, degenerative spine and lumbar degenerative disc disease.
“Being a leader is spine surgery requires a dedication to advancing our knowledge of spinal disorders in order to continually develop better treatment options for our patients,” said Dr. Yeung in a Becker’s Spine Review article. “This can be accomplished by participating in research projects and being active in international spine organizations and your local community. Despite our current knowledge, there is still much to be discovered and developed to help our patients.”
Dr. Yeung earned his medical degree at the University of Southern California Keck School of Medicine in Los Angeles and completed his orthopedic residency at the University of California Irvine Medical Center in Orange. He has also completed a fellowship at the USC Center for Orthopedic Spine Surgery/Los Angeles Spine Surgery.
