Dr. Kim’s practice focuses on a wide array of minimally invasive treatments for treating herniated discs, spinal stenosis, adult scoliosis and spondylolisthesis in the neck to the low back. He is also considered to be an expert in computer-assisted minimally invasive spine surgery and has trained specialists throughout the United States.
Dr. Kim is also a qualified medical evaluator and a past voting member of the U.S. Food and Drug Administration’s Orthopedic Devices Panel. He has authored more than 200 publications and presentations. He is certified by American Board of Orthopaedic Surgeons.
Dr. Kim earned his medical degree at Harvard Medical School in Boston and completed his residency at the University of California, San Diego. He has completed a fellowship in spine surgery at Rochester, Minn.-based Mayo Clinic.
