Spine Surgeon Leader to Know: Dr. Charles Gordon of Texas Spine and Joint Hospital

Charles Gordon, MD, is a neurosurgeon and co-founder of Texas Spine and Joint Hospital in Tyler. He also founded Precision Spine Care in Tyler and the device company Flexus Spine in Pittsburgh. He is an affiliate of the North American Spine Society and a member of the Texas Medical Association.

Dr. Gordon specializes in spine surgery and treatment of spine injury, deformity and degeneration. He has received patents for more than four spinal devices and served as principal investigator for numerous research trials.

Dr. Gordon earned his medical degree at the Baylor College of Medicine in Houston. He completed his residency in neurosurgery at the Medical College of Virginia in Richmond.
