Spine surgeon leader to know: Dr. Bruce Tranmer of the University of Vermont Medical Center

Bruce Tranmer, MD, is a board-certified neurosurgeon at the University of Vermont Medical Center, in Barre.

Dr. Tranmer specializes in neurological surgery.

 

He began his career after earning his medical degree from Queen’s University, in Canada. He had an internship in general surgery while there. He then completed a residency at the University of Toronto.

 

Dr. Tranmer had two fellowships. One was in neurological research at the University of Colorado School of Medicine, and the other was in neurosurgery at the University of Calgary.

 

Dr. Tranmer is board certified by the American Board of Neurological Surgery.
