Dr. Katz earned his medical degree from the George Washington University School of Medicine, in Washington, DC. He had a residency in orthopedic surgery at the Lenox Hill Hospital in New York City. He had three fellowships — two in spine surgery at Tulane University and the Premiere Surgery Center in Kentucky and the A.O. trauma fellowship in Hannover, Germany.
Dr. Katz specializes in treating the spine.
Dr. Katz is affiliated with the Christiana Care Health System and St. Francis Hospital. He is a fellow of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and a member of several other national professional groups.
Dr. Katz has held several presentations on spine-related conditions, and he has published two papers on spinal fractures.
