Spine surgeon leader to know: Dr. Brian Gantwerker of the Craniospinal Center of Los Angeles

Brian Gantwerker, MD, is an active member of the North American Spine Society and was recognized for his advocacy efforts in spine surgery.

In February, he was recognized by NASS’ advocacy arm, the National Association of Spine Specialists. He’s a board member of NASS’ political engagement committee and part of the advocacy committee. NASS highlighted his work elevating the voices of spine physicians and challenging legislative hurdles in the field.

Beyond NASS, Dr. Gantwerker founded the Craniospinal Center of Los Angeles. He specializes in treating brain tumors and degenerative spinal conditions. He received his medical degree from Rush Medical College in Chicago and completed his residency at University Hospitals of Cleveland.
