Dr. Gantwerker utilizes minimally invasive techniques and Gamma Knife Radiosurgery and has authored several book chapters and peer-reviewed journal articles over his career. He is a member of the American Association of Neurological Surgeons, Congress of Neurological Surgeons, Society for Minimally Invasive Spine Society, North American Spine Society, California Association of Neurological Surgeons and the American Medical Association.
After obtaining his medical degree at Rush Medical College in Chicago, Dr. Gantwerker completed his neurosurgical residency at University Hospitals of Cleveland. He went on to complete a complex spine fellowship at Phoenix-based Barrow Neurological Institute.
