Spine surgeon leader to know: Dr. Brett G. MenMuir of Reno Orthopaedic Clinic

Brett G. MenMuir, MD, is a board-certified orthopedic spine surgeon. He is a member of the American Association of Orthopaedic Surgeons and is on the Scientific Advisory Board for Phygen. He has practiced at the Reno Orthopaedic Clinic since 2004.

Dr. MenMuir’s subspecialty is in spine surgery, and he specializes in minimally invasive surgeries of the cervical and lumbar spine with notice to motion preservation and fusion. He performed the first surgery with the SImmetry Sacroiliac Join Fusion System’s update.

 

He received his medical degree from Georgetown Medical School and finished his residency at Louisiana State University. Dr. MenMuir also finished a spine fellowship at Twin Cities Spine Institute in Minneapolis.
