Spine surgeon leader to know: Dr. Baron Lonner of Mount Sinai Hospital

Baron Lonner, MD, is a spine surgeon and professor at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City.

Board certified in orthopedic surgery, Dr. Lonner has performed over 3,000 pediatric and adult scoliosis primary and revision surgeries. Additionally, he has authored and co-authored more than 120 publications.

 

Dr. Lonner is an associate editor and serves on the editorial board for the Journal of Spinal Deformity. He is a board member of the Scoliosis Research Society and Settling Scoliosis Straight Foundation.

 

After earning his medical degree from Boston University School of Medicine, Dr. Lonner completed his residency at Albert Einstein College of Medicine in Bronx, N.Y. Dr. Lonner is also fellowship trained from New York City-based Hospital for Special Surgery.
