He specializes in adult spinal surgery and complex reconstructive surgery as well as minimally invasive techniques involving percutaneous interbody fusion and instrumental techniques.
After earning his medical degree from Farmington-based University of Connecticut School of Medicine, Dr. Mellion completed a surgical internship and neurosurgery residency at Houston-based Baylor College of Medicine.
