After practicing medicine for three years, Dr. Aslie found that typical spine surgery techniques only helped patients temporarily. It was this dissatisfaction that sparked his development of the now-patented laminar plating system. The system offers patients added stability and comfort on a long-term basis.
Dr. Aslie attained his medical degree at New York Medical College in Valhalla before completing his residency at St. Vincent’s Hospital in New York City and his fellowship at Harvard University in Boston. He remains an active spine researcher, regularly attending and speaking at conferences.
