Dr. Frempong-Boadu is certified by the American Board of Neurological Surgery. He is a member of the American Association of Neurological Surgeons, Congress of Neurological Surgeons, Cervical Spine Research Society, and the North American Spine Society. He teaches spinal decompression and fusion techniques as well as endoscopic and minimally invasive spinal surgery techniques at national and international conferences.
Dr. Frempong-Boadu’s clinical interests include spinal trauma, complex and reconstructive spinal deformity surgery, degenerative spinal surgery, cervical herniated discs and cervical spine diseases.
Dr. Frempong-Boadu earned his medical degree from Temple University in Philadelphia, and he completed his residency in neurosurgery at NYU Langone Medical Center. He has completed a fellowship in neurosurgery at Shands Hospital at the University of Florida in Gainesville. He has also completed a spine surgery fellowship at NYU Langone Medical Center.
