Spine surgeon leader to know: Dr. Andrew Kokkino Oregon Neurosurgery

Andrew Kokkino, MD, is a spine surgeon at Springfield-based Oregon Neurosurgery.

Previously, Dr. Kokkino served as an assistant professor at Loyola University Stritch School of Medicine in Chicago. To date, he continues to develop minimally invasive techniques for spine surgery.

 

Dr. Kokkino specializes in the treatment of brain and spine tumors. He completed an American Cancer Society fellowship in neuro-oncology.

 

After earning his medical degree from Chicago-based Northwestern University Medical School, Dr. Kokkino completed his residency at the University of Cincinnati-Mayfield Clinic.
