Spine surgeon leader to know: Dr. Allen Kent Sills of Vanderbilt Health

Allen Kent Sills Jr., MD, is a board-certified neurosurgeon serving patients at Vanderbilt Spine Center in Nashville, Tenn.

The director of the neurosurgery community practice, Dr. Sills is also a neurosurgery professor and co-director of the Vanderbilt Sports Concussion Center.

 

Dr. Sills performs neurological surgery, specializing in the treatment of brain tumors and neurological disorders. He also specializes in spine care and sports medicine.

 

Dr. Sills obtained his medical degree from Baltimore-based Johns Hopkins University. He completed his internship, residency and fellowship at Johns Hopkins Hospital and Health System.
