Dr. Hilibrand is the spine surgery co-director and spine fellowship director at Rothman Institute. He is a professor of spine surgery at Sidney Kimmel Medical College at Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia.
Dr. Hilibrand received his medical degree from Yale School of Medicine in New Haven, Conn., and underwent spine and spinal cord injury fellowship training at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland.
He served as the president of the Cervical Spine Research Society in 2015. Currently, he sits on the board of directors of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons as the chair of the communications cabinet. He serves on the board of directors of the North American Spine Society as the chair of continuing medical education and on the editorial board of several leading spine journals.
