Akwasi Boah, MD, is a board-certified neurosurgeon at the Texas Back Institute in Denton.

He specializes in spinal neurosurgery and spinal oncology surgery. Dr. Boah received his medical degree from the Morehouse School of Medicine in Atlanta.

Dr. Boah has authored several research papers and book chapters. He is a member of the American Association of Neurological Surgeons, Alpha Omega Alpha and the Southern Christian Leadership Conference, among other professional organizations.
