He received his medical degree at Drexel University College of Medicine in Philadelphia in 2015 and has completed his residency at MedStar Union Memorial Hospital in Baltimore. In 2017, he became the first resident board member of the Maryland Orthopedic Association.
Dr. Trontis is an active member of the North American Spine Society as a reviewer for The Spine Journal and as a member of NASS’ Member Feedback and Research Funding committees. NASS’ primary publication, SpineLine, included him on its “20 Under 40” list for 2020.
