Dr. Roman is the chairman of the Pain Management Review Committee of the Arkansas State Medical Board, and he has worked to increase awareness for regulations affecting prescription drugs.
He received his medical degree and internship from the University of Arkansas College of Medicine in Little Rock. He completed his anesthesiology residency at Tulane University in New Orleans.
At the 11th Annual Orthopedic, Spine and Pain Management Driven ASC Conference in June, Dr. Roman will be presenting on new concepts in prescribing opioids, and he will serve on a panel to discuss defining issues for orthopedic, spine and pain management practices in ASCs.
Dr. Roman is a member of the American Medical Society, American Society of Anesthesiologists and Anesthesia Political Action Committee.
