Spine leader to know: Dr. Mats Agren of the Falmouth Orthopedic Center

Mats Agren, MD, is a board certified orthopedic spine surgeon at Falmouth (Neb.) Orthopaedic Center.

Dr. Agren specializes in treating complex spine disorders using minimally invasive techniques for fusion and kyphoplasty.

 

Originally from Sweden, his career began after he earned his medical degree from the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine. He completed an internship at the Maine Medical Center in Portland and a residency at the Massachusetts Medical Center in Worcester. He then completed a spine fellowship at New England Baptist Hospital in Boston.

 

Dr. Agren is a member of several professional societies including the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons and the North American Spine Society.
